Two more from the Rocks

Post by pop511 » Mon Aug 27, 2018 2:27 pm

Posted up a few pics I took at the Rocks area in Sydney recently. These are two more.
Nothing special in themselves It is the memories that are priceless.
Walking through a cutting it was bathed in red light, and high above on the ceiling were these pipes.

The picture of the singer was taken in a pub. When I first saw him from outside I noticed the lights falling on him were constantly changing.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Entered the pub and spoke to security for permission. That was relayed to the manager and then to the singer.
Gotta be lucky sometimes....And oh boy. was he a good singer!!

It always amazes me when we see things others don't, it's there but seems to interest us most, like the lines on a ceiling, and the offset angle when looking at another. Do we really see things differently I wonder, or do we just take a second look when others don't? S-

Ceiling shot;
Decided on that one to line up the brickwork when taking the shot.
" Do we really see things differently I wonder,".. The short answer is yes.

The musician all lit up in pinks and purples is very cool.
