I like it. My eye goes straight to the kite, and the pastel-and-cotton-ball sky sets it off very nicely. Even the brighter colors on the beach seem muted somehow, so for me anyway they don't distract from the kite. Even the big white tent, which I suspect should be a distraction owing to its size and brightness, does not draw my eye away from that lovely, ethereal kite! Well seen, well taken! (OK)

I see why you left this one in color! It's full of wonderfully busy detail, kitchen sink the way I like it. But of course it would also support individual "short stories" made up of small elements/scenes from the larger tapestry. Very interesting image in my book.

Chuck...I am glad you enjoyed the treatment and thank you.

minniev....if it weren't for the kite and sky I might have gone b/w...knew you would like the sink approach.

A unique, but typical beach scene Frank. Color for sure as it says with this image. A lot going on and a pleasure to observe all aspects from one end to the other.

I didn't know you could still drive up on the beach, that's an amazing shot! S-
