I did several years back. It started out with a very boring small town street shot that I simply couldn't make worth printing sio started playing with it in PS filters. Finally wound up with a pencil sketch with strong outines on all edges. Made me think of a a coloring book, so I started out coloring!
lit up the lights etc.....still a boring picture, I put it away. Then we acquired a grand-daughter and around her third birthday I was scratching my head as to what to make her.
Run across the half forgotten street seen. Got to remembering when I was about ten of living in a small town not unlike this one, and what a neat time of day twilight was. Voila' went serching for 'inhabitants' to people the picture. The hard part was the lighting (it always is isn't it?) but i think the shadows and lights all pretty weel work.
Was intended to be printed as a poster ~20x30 but mailing it was a pain (son was in military at the time) so simply sent thm the image om a CD and a check for the printing costs. don't think they ever had it printed, but here it is again popping up. I enjoy looking at it, so that is what counts. Have it printed 11x14 and hanging over the desk.
