Duck, Go back out right now. The sky is clear. The moon awaits. And so does pM. Matt

Believe me, I had all intentions. I had to drop my jeep off at the garage earlier today. I'm so upset with this. I'll try tomorrow night and hope there is still enough of a full moon to be worth the trip.

Part of the reason I want to redo this is I was tutoring someone and missed the blue hour for this image. Secondly, I did not bring a good lens with me so I wanted to redo it with a sharper lens. Third, I want to see if I can get a closer image of the moon so I can make it larger in the frame.

We'll see what happens.

Good luck. I checked different sites last night and there were no good locations for early shots of the moon over water anywhere nearby. Will give it another go tonight. Matt

Gray skies made for a lousy attempt tonight. I'll have another go at it the next full moon.

My local camera store offers up occasional free shooting events for their meetup members. Tonight is was a sunset shoot at a local beach. As one of their instructors I made an appearance to help out. I also went for personal reasons... to take photos outside of my studio environment. Something I find lacking of late.

Here is my best shot of the evening. Enjoy.
I like it and interestingly the little light above the pier really works, I'm not a fan of the light green right of the building, but overall I'd say print it and call it a night! S-
