Another gloomy day with showers threatened but it allowed me to get out for a stroll along the woodsy path. So, I decided to go to the light side in pp just because I could. Here are a few. Matt

Have you been wandering in my forest?

I love these Matt, especially the second one. But I cannot fairly critique them because they remind me too much of my own woods. That second one has a unique, eye catching composition, lines to follow with our eyes, and plenty detail. The third one is intriguing with the dancing tree on the left and the climber making her way up the old soldier on the right. That first one is scary.

Minnie, I would love to wander your woods and waterways, you know. But that is not to be, sadly. Another life, perhaps.

I like the second one as well; it's my favorite of the group. When I saw it, I kept fiddling with composition, moving back and forth, left and right, to be sure I go as much of the trunk as possible because I really liked the smooth tonal transitions in it. I think that is what prompted me to go to the light side. Here's another from this morning. Thanks for the support. Matt
