That is another WOWOWOWOWOW picture! I'm not at all sure I would know what it was were it not titled, but it's utterly gorgeous as finished, and yes, the dark is just right. (OK)

thank you Frank and Paula - it is dark, but I figured the tree line was not the subject matter, it would still be there tomorrow. The sky on the other hand is as temporary as it gets.

Thanks Chuck. I don't know for sure what causes that effect. I don't think it is contrails.. Here is the less processed image that I began with (earlier I cropped out some from the top and the bottom and used ACR to bring out shadows).
