Joy at sunset

Post by Matt Quinn » Sun Dec 17, 2017 7:44 pm

I was scrolling through my '17 photos in preparation for a book when I stumbled across this sunset image; I don't think I noticed the man throwing the child in the air, left on horizon. I was probably waiting for the person to step into the sun's reflection. A bonus? Matt

I like the image Matt, so small I'm not sure it matters...I think there's more tone and contrast to bring out here but this is showcase so enough said, I find it well composed...

Thanks Frank. I'll go back and see what I can bring out. Matt

Our sons won't want my Lightroom files when I'm gone. I have been making books since I retired and the grands were born; when they are visiting, they browse them. So, in some sense, it's their legacy. Matt

Hi, Matt,

I thought it a lovely image at first glance...and the little scene of the child tossed in the air is a wonderful lagniappe.

Thanks Dave. A new word for me; I will have to find a cocktail party to use it. Matt
