It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed. As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery. Please take a moment to remember him in your prayers. |

Taken in our driveway before heading to Paines Creek Beach. Beach pictures coming.

It is well taken and the rose stands out this way as a recognizable subject of interest in the fog and foliage. But forgive me Matt, I just can't reconcile myself very well to a rose without its color. I am sure that is my own shortcoming though.

Not a shortcoming Minnie. I sometimes go to extremes, and this is one of them. (That's the devil in me.) It just didn't come off. I could have lied and said its was a white rose, but no need. Or pretend I was color blind. No need for that either. I value your reaction, you know. Thanks. Matt
