Is the pub from years ago or the photo, or both? It has plenty of color and shiny glasses and rich wood, and is composed to show many of the place's "assets". A crop might make a commercial type photo.

The answer is both. The photo is from 2010, just after the pub opened. The pub closed around 2015 when the owner sold out to another bar developer. It's now a Dirk Bently's Whiskey Road. A place which my shadow will not darken their doorstep. The actual back bar is from Ireland and the owners were as well. It's a real shame it closed, but that is the difference between being owned by a businessman and being owned by a family, I guess.

As an addendum, that photo secured for me the position of being the pub's official photographer.
