I kept passing this image up for PP because Grand Teton Peak is hidden in the clouds.

but it's hidden in such beautiful clouds! They are so beautiful I almost missed the barn!

Thanks Minnie, I was wishing for a big fan to just blow a hole at the peak with the soft warm light on it.

a beautiful and brisk morning - hope you had some coffee with you. I think the clouds had their story to tell, no helping it. Perhaps not what you wanted but very, very beautiful.

Piet, Coffee was hard to find in the early morning hours. April/May is the off season in Jackson as skiing is over and the vacation season has not started so not a lot places open. I did find one place that was only open for only breakfast/lunch that had great coffee but they were not open at 4:30AM when my day started.. The clouds over the peaks seemed to stay during the changing season as winter is still there on the highest peaks and collides with warmer air of spring moving up from the valleys. I only briefly saw Teton Peak in the 10 or so days I was there.

If you move you better make room for me next door.

P.S. I pulled the original image down and added a newer one where I lighten the barn and a few other small changes.

The sun catching the top of the mountains and bits of the clouds has strong appeal for me! It is a pleasing landscape and the mountaintops are a scene stealer!
