Early morning hike in the swamp sometimes involves some nice light on the eastern edge of the swamp.

Lovely composition - very calming and peaceful. (except, for some reason, the thought of mosquitoes keeps creeping into my mind :) )

:p There were plenty of king-sized mosquitos in there and since I hadn't run into any yet this year, I didn't have my bug spray! Won't forget it again! Thanks!

I'm wondering what's better to print this on metal or glass? Love the light! S-

I've never done glass but would love to try it with this one.

How often do we hear, "It's all about the light." And how often it proves to be true. Beautiful work, Minnie!

metal or metallic paper. Both give those highlights the great depth...which glass does not.
There are no banal subjects in photography, but an infinite number of banal ways to illustrate them.

Thanks to all for the comments and the suggestion. I do some printing on metallic paper, so I'll give it a whirl.

I was thinking glass might give it a transparent feeling but this is a good point. Thank you! S-
