Animated Cinemagraph

Postby Duck » Sun Nov 22, 2015 5:15 am

I've always admired well made animated GIFs I've come across on the internet but I've never attempted to make one. Recently Aaron Nace of Phlearn.com posted a step-by-step YouTube video on how to create what is now termed a cinemagraph, or animated GIF. Here is my first attempt at making one and I'll link to his video below so you can try your hand at making one also.

Comments welcomed.

Very interesting, not something I have the time for these days, but you never know.

You only get one sunrise and one sunset a day, and you only get so many days on the planet. A good photographer does the math and doesn't waste either. - Galen Rowell

I hear ya, Not sure what useful applications there are for this but I thought I'd try it just to say I did it (and to see the process first hand).
