Well now that's pretty grand! Good choice of title, I opened it not realizing you meant REALLY old grafitti! I love rock art, it's something I have always asked about when traveling out west, because there's some great stuff and it doesn't always show up as tourist attractions or on park maps. Locals and rangers know about it though.

Nicely composed and presented, too, in addition to having a great subject.

Glad to hear that you,too, Are a fan of rock art. I have been fascinated by both pictographic and petroglyphic rock art since first encountering it in the rock faces of the buttes and talus boulders of the Cave Hills in Custer NP in northwest SD back in the late 60s while engaged in my field research on wildlife diseases. I have since sought and sketched and photographed prehistoric rock art in North, Central, and South America and the Greater Antilles, as well as in Europe, the Middle East, and in Queensland, Australia. Such rock art has strongly influenced my carvings and engravings in stone and glass.
