The sunset that wasn't

Until the equinox tonight, 9/22/'18 at 9:54 PM, ET, it is still summer even though the temps are in the low 6o's. So, this is the last sunset of this summer, the sunset that wasn't.

Matt
A blue sunset is an anomaly but it works well, especially with the dead tree silhouetted against the interesting clouds. It tells a story, which is what we are always trying to do.

First sunset photos of Autumn, 2018

Just got home and wanted to post these: all are SOOC. I'll get to work on them tomorrow.

In the first, a young couple was having engagement photos taken. The second is of another couple sitting and watching the sunset. The third shows the creek moving into the bay.

First one is great! That would be a good stock photo. The others are nice, and the third is a lovely landscape shot. Good sunsets! I’m jealous, we have had mostly pale sunsets the past few weeks.

Lovely scene. Jealous again! We have no big rocks, no fall foliage. But I will get a short visit in Colorado next week and am hoping for aspens!

A few from tonight. Temps were in the low 50s with a chill wind off the bay, so after the sun had gone down, I headed back to the parking lot, huddled in my light down jacked and saw the a white stretch limo had just pulled in and the party was heading to the beach wall, There was very little light but I followed them down, took one shot, then left.
