The file uploaded as a raw has to be a previously edited file as it comes up as a square format and looks like a high pass layer only

To create a 'clean' hyperlink you would use the following BBCode format;

  1. In your post, click on the URL button. This inserts the following code into the post...

    Code: Select all

    [url][/url]
  2. To create the link add the URL into the BBCode in this format...

    Code: Select all

    [url=http://yourlinkhere.com/][/url]
  3. The link text then gets placed between the BBCode like this...

    Code: Select all

    [url=http://yourlinkhere.com/]your link here[/url]

Hope this explains it well. :)

When uploading large files to the dropbox, I start the upload and leave it overnight sometimes. When I come back and it has finished uploading, I then share the public link..

thanks very much for that duck....just a small point....whem you paste in-between the url boxes...a blue cursor comes up just after the second lot of square brackets....and you cannot move it so you have no option but to paste in that spot.....you therefore have to remove [/url] paste and then type that in....
can the blue cursor be moved between the 2 url symbols.....if you don't understand i will take a screen shot....my feeling is it has something to do with programming

When you paste the code into your post with the button the default places the cursor in the middle of the URL tags. Once it's placed you can move that cursor anywhere. It doesn't have to stay there. Feel free to disregard the default placement. The same thing goes for the [ List= ] button. You also don't have to use the buttons. Just type in the BBCode format and the forum will parse the code (as long as the syntax is correct).

TIP: If you hover your mouse over the buttons it will pop up a sample of the format used in that tag.

yes...the flashing cursor does appear in the middle but when you tap with two finger to paste(mac)..think thats right click this is what you see....you cannot move this blue thing and so the paste goes here....so you have to delete all the second lot of url stuff and type it in manually
