Charles Haacker wrote:This is hilarious on so many levels, but for me what really makes the shot is Col. Sanders back there looking sidelong at the camera, having juuuust that second taken his eyes off, um... it's the salacious expression he wears, and somehow managing to look both at you and, um, simultaneously adds the wink-wink-nudge-nudge  to the shot. This is utter serendipity, a shot I'm not sure could have been made had you tried to set it up. That is le moment décisif in spades! One of the best street shots I've ever seen, and absolutely must have color (how else to see the red?).

Absolutely in agreement Chuck !!! This could not have been planned no matter how hard I tried. Col. Sanders expression is what makes this image work. Glad you like it, and thanks for your thoughts !!!

Your welcome Frank !!! Hope it's useful for you. I tried to post the link from B&H and Adorama, but the link just led you the the main site, where you would have had to search for the item and that would have been a pain, but Nikon USA kept the product on the page.

Thanks Ernst !!! Actually my focus was on the Old #7 sign and everyone kept walking in front of me. Street photography can be a pain .... sometimes. Which reminds me of a quote from George Peppard of the A Team, “I love it when a plan comes together.” Not the case here though.

I keep thinking about The Lady In Red by Chris De Burgh

I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright
I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance
They're looking for a little romance, given half a chance
And I have never seen that dress you're wearing
Or the highlights in your hair that catch your eyes
I have been blind

The lady in red is dancing with me, cheek to cheek
There's nobody here, it's just you and me
It's where I want to be
But I hardly know this beauty by my side
I'll never forget the way you look tonight
