The Road to Ucluelet

Post by minniev »

Another one of my trials without a strong subject. Just a window to the light on a mountainside of a recovering burn area in breaking fog. Relying on the frame, the light, the line up the mountainside, the V, even together they may be too subtle. All suggestions appreciated.

A pleasant scene well captured minniev......the two bright spots in the clouds take too much attention away from the image in my opinion

Minnie, The Hobbit, as soon as I saw the image. A pleasant and satisfying meander for my eye. Thank you. Matt

Thanks Frank. I think I made the spots worse with processing, I’ll have to revisit.

It is a hobbit-ish environment. Glad you liked it!

Thank you Piet. It was one of those run-off-the-road stops to catch the light as it changed.

Hiking along the trail I look left and wonder if that leading line is a trail directly into the fog, so I follow it, I always follow it! S-
