Ducks Watching Sunrise

Yesterday I noticed a sky that defied the predictions of my sunrise prediction ap, and by the time I rushed out, some of the best of the show was gone. The ducks were still enjoying it, though, so we shared what was left. All advice appreciated. The colors were so vivid I have desaturated them some (odd for a raw file which is usually pretty bland)

You'll get no critique from me! Or the ducks! (OK)

Thank you. It was a pretty impressive sunrise, so I was glad I got to get the final curtain.

This is a rather beautiful image. Very scenic with that early morning calm nicely captured. My only real critique is the horizon needs to be leveled. Other than that it's just a subjective thing. I would like to see the area around the ducks brightened just a touch to help bring the forward a little more. All else is great. I love the energy in the clouds with the different layers and colors. A worthy wall hanger.

Gorgeous Minnie, a great start to the day and morning.

My imagination runs away with this: I see a sunken shell of a boat below the ducks and a sunken house below the sunrise. Atlantis?

Very lovely, very lovely. Matt

Thanks, Duck. I agree with you about the area around the ducks. I didn't go quite as far as I should have there.

As for leveling, woe is me, I try so hard, using all the tools LR and PS offer, and still I never seem to get it straight.
I must just see crooked. :)

I see them too! Shadows, like clouds and the water spots on the wallpaper of the ceiling when I was a kid - free rein for overactive imaginations.

Thanks!!

Wonderfull image...you could try a high pass filter on the area of ducks and water to enhance..I might consider cloning out the right edge duck..I dunno.

Thanks Frank. I will try that, it would probably work. And the renegade duck is probably unnecessary.

Wow, I was so captivated by the colors and the foreground ducks I didn't even see that loneone on the side. :look:
I think it's time for new glasses... (?)
