The community around the "Industry"

Post by LindaShorey » Wed Dec 20, 2017 9:32 pm

When I posted "Industry", Duck suggested expanding the view to showcase that this is primarily a farming community.

I mentioned I had an older shot, and I just found it! I did attempt to take a photo from this same spot last month, but the smoke stack wasn't a'smokin' and Mt Adams wasn't out :D

#2 below is a later edit to the one posted in the link above.

Thanks for any feedback!

You can always tell pretty much what I'm thinkin' when the first thing I say (sotto voce) is "OH GOSH-a-rooty!" (Yes, he actually, literally says that out loud.)
Friends call me Chuck. :photo: This link takes you to my Flickr albums. Please click on any album to scroll through it.
(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

Duck and Frank, thanks very much for your time! Frank, I wonder if the desire to remove the foreground houses is because they are white? Catching the eye in a negative way?

After some thought I think maybe I would like to see just the open field..I think I feel blocked..after cropping up I find it too close so I guess it would have to be cloned..

It's amazing how many different types of landscapes you have in that one image. I will also love the second! S-
