I don't think it lacks a thing. As usual I can't really analyze why it works so well for me (I'm sure it has much to do with the lines formed by the crossing of the trunks and the placement, not to mention the light). I've stood in many a forest attempting to "shoot the forest for the trees," and I have pretty much always failed. Your picture works, Steve. I think it's lovely and you have managed to somehow capture "the forest for the trees."
