Test run for a possible client shot. It's a work in progress...

For me the soda entering the glass looks too much like a straw.....maybe that could be a good thing.

An odd fuzzy glow on the bottom tight glass edge. other than that it looks pretty good.

After closer review i concur with Didereaux about the glow, glow like it goes all the way up the right side and even on the bottom left up to the first curve...

Duck,
To my unpracticed eye it looks like this is a one light set up, or maybe two light with a very low power 45ºto the right. If so is it a large box or octagon? The reason I am asking is that strange glow the more I look at it resembles 'wrap-around' light from a large light source making it into the faint shadow area, or some spill over from the low power 2d light to the right.

I think it's overall great. It does what it's supposed to do, which is make me want a cola, right now! I see that slight haloing but I'm confident that's easily fixed one way or another. I like the pour being just a little smeared. I love the "Dutch Tilt," (a term I would not even know had it not been for Graham Smith who identified it in a picture by Linda Shorey). :|

I agree about the "straw effect". I guess I am not very discerning because I didn't notice the "glow" until it was mentioned. I was more mesmerized by the foam and ice, which made me want to grab the glass and take a gulp. What bothers me, however, is the background color. It just seems to clash with the cola color. I would prefer something that makes the glass stand out better.

Yep, that's what I get for rushing the edit at the end of a long day... I should know better.

Anyhow, here is the properly edited image...
