Funny you should mention that...

I had the toughest time wrangling those bottom cubes into a location I felt comfortable with. One of the earlier shots had a single ice cube right up against the glass (think, teenager mooning motorists from the back seat of a car). It was blaringly bright as it caught the light all wrong. I then shifted the bottom cubes that also shifted the top cubes... Argh!

As for the chocolate reference... I still don't see it, but then, that shows how a single image can be viewed in multiple ways by different people. I have cubes with no air bubbles in them but they are the next size down and would have looked too small in the glass. I have 1" and 1.25" cubes. I think I need to go shopping and get some solid 1.25" and a few 1.5" cubes.

(Side note) Who would have thought I would ever be contemplating shopping for ice cubes? If I could go back in time to talk to my younger self, that younger self would have thought I'd lost it. 8~

Well, I decided to reshoot this. I used a slightly smaller glass with a round bottom instead of square. I also added a bit of background interest as I felt it needed "something".

P.S. The color of the liquid is not the same because I used something different than last time.

Of the two I like the second one better for the color of the liquid, but on both I'm distracted by the vertical white reflection on the glass. It's funny how the shapes in the ice are a distraction too. There's so much to consider here it gives me more appreciation for advertisers.

I couldn't do this and am honored you shared this with us! S-

I like the second, but not sure of the new background as I find myself trying to make out the face on the right.
