I don't know exactly what you're after...but one way is to make a duplicate layer-convert to smart object-fliters-acr and use the negative clarity slider...then duplicate layer-smart object-acr-negative de-haze if you want a bit more foggish look and mask as needed....you don't have to convert to smart object but I sometimes find I want to adjust the acr settings a bit after I gt it back in Ps...course once you duplicate a layer that won't help with the previous layer....

Minnie, I like the final result the most except for the hat/head of the rower. On a quick glance, it looked like he had lost it; there is greater contrast in the original between hat and water.. Can it be brought up somehow? Just my opinion.

You have the keenest eye for what surrounds you. Surprised you didn't try to change your reservations. Matt

I can probably paint more of the detail from the hat back in from the original. It’s one of those woven hats that are prevalent up there, and they reflect even in poor light, but they do have detail to work with.
