I just discovered Liquify in PS

Post by Matt Quinn » Sat Jun 23, 2018 7:26 pm

My balance may be way off from my chemo, but this is not what it feels like. This may be more like the morning after a night before at a raging bachelor party -- which I never attended, mind you, so this is completely speculative. I leave it to others to comment on any pertinent memories or lack thereof. Matt

Reminiscent of Vincent Van Gogh, but in black and white.

I guess this would look better in color, then. I'll go back and look. Matt

The only reason I cheered for Van Gogh (or Munch for that matter) was the vivid texture, which works very well in B&W. I wasn't trying to denigrate your B&W treatment. It's great!

BTW I have also discovered Liquify. I had a friend ask if I could do some slimming in a picture, so I watched a bunch of tutorials and managed to take some pounds off with the (I think it's called) the push left tool. All the tutorials assume a plain or at least uncluttered background (silly tutors) but I had to rebuild detail behind. It was fun, though, and educational, and it worked well enough. I can't show the before and after of course for privacy reasons but all were pleased.

Not to worry Chuck,I did not think you were finding fault; I just had not thought of ding the VG thingy in color. The suggestion opened options for me. Thanks. If only Liquify could work on actual waistlines with a little push left then right. If only. Thanks. Matt
