Re: Spider disco on a misty morning

Post by minniev »

I like the ethereal quality a lot Matt. Spider Disco? So that's what they are? I've tried for years to do something with them but never thought to go wider and softer like you did. Yours is a lot better than mine. I have a host of failed spider discos on my drives, of which this is only the most recent...

Thanks Minnie. Yes, all those creatures, great and small, dance and sing till dawn. We have a lot to learn. Matt

good background for it,
Thanks Piet. I'll ponder a haiku. Yesterday was a drug-induced muddle, so I couldn't focus. Or maybe I should have tried; would have been interesting to reread on a Sunday morning over my second cup. I'll post if something occurs. Matt

Will do. State only slightly altered, some sleep, some caffeine, some sugar. Here goes:

dawn is coming soon
dimming down our dancing room
gather we our web

Always a kick, Piet. Thanks. Matt

Spotted this spider nest early this morning out the back door and played with it in Topaz, Color Effex and Lightroom. Must be a crowded dance floor.

Matt
My gut says to crop this in but I love the background colors, almost as if it's the stage for a bigger performance! S-

This was a major crop to begin with; I did experiment a bit and settled on this one. I liked the stage effect. Thanks. Matt
