Matt; like anything else. It depends on what you seek and your level of expertise.
P/Shop;
Arunz/ blue lightning/ PSDbox/ rafyA
In photog tuts the list is even longer, but from it all where at the beginning it was somewhat confusing. It has helped me to find my own style that I would like to pursue.
Have fun;

Thank you, Ed. Yes, I am searching for a style; at the moment, I lean toward the simple, the uncluttered, the clean and want to shape my own view within those guidelines. Time, it will take, Yoda notes. Matt

It's fun to see this topic continue, and I enjoyed all the recent entries very much. Sometimes I feel I should buckle down as Matt suggests above to "search for a style." But I'm nearly 100% sure I'm just going to keep dabbling and exploring and creating whatever strikes my fancy on a given day :)

Then that's your style, I guess, Linda, and a good one. I really like your work; it's thoughtful, careful, sensitive, deliberate and, now and then, off the chart. So, there you are. Matt

I've been following this topic and all I can say is WOW! It almost makes me wonder how you would make an image without one! S-

True. But I want to improve, have scanned the booklist you graciously gave and have none of them. I am going to get one and see where it leads. I feel stalled at the moment. Thanks again. Matt

I like how it looks like you removed the texture from around her face. Beautiful! S-

Very creative and intriguing. I always enjoy your use of textures with portraits, something I haven’t done much of.
