The hike up that hill is steep, but not far. And it leads to the lighthouse and the distant view of the village. I'm as challenged as you, so I just go really slow. The whole island is only .7 mi x 1.7 mi. I'm attaching a trail map so you can see how it's laid out. The majority of the photography ops are in the area that's white (except for the lighthouse). So it's pretty tightly contained. The green areas are mostly forests and rocky cliffs.

Cool !!! The map sure is helpful and I would be willing to hike up that steep hill several times to obtain that view for various lighting conditions.

There are endless carrots. Though the island is small, you never run out of options. Then there's the people. Endless fascination. This is one of Sherm Stanley's daughters. He is the harbormaster, as his father/grandfather/greatgrandfather before him, back to the 1700s or something like that.

Another - the forests are so beautiful on the island. They have been preserved by an irrevocable trust set up by Thomas Edison's son.
