We are having an event here in Port Angeles in front of our Captain Joseph House. Starts tomorrow and ends Mon. It will be open 24hrs.
Respecting our Fallen Soldiers that have been killed in action since 9/11.

Great documentary shot of a powerful local event. The somber processing look suits the occasion.You do such a good job of documenting your community. Your posts have given us a birdseye view into its life, the next best thing to a visit, while at the same time showing us quality work that also stands on its own photographically.

These are great images to celebrate a community event, but they can speak to a larger audience too. The first and third are special favorites for me, and could speak volumes anywhere as freestanding and caption-less images capturing the complex emotions associated with patriotism and military service.
