Watching the Sea

Post by minniev » Tue Aug 13, 2019 2:52 pm

This was one of my favorites of the far-away shots that I took in the Vast collection. This is the northern end of Quebec, a desolate and beautiful place. All comments welcome, I just now realized I put it in Showcase on accident.

Love the lighting and even thou there is just a glimpse of the sea & watcher, your title gets the point across to set a mystery. Nice indeed Minnie !!!

When you try something that's very subtle you always wonder if it works. Thanks Dave.

I love every pixel, don’t change a thing. Seriously. I could smell the green, feel the cool dirt under my bare feet, taste the hint of salt in the breeze, hear the birds. I think it’s the light and the crop that carried me away!!

Thanks Karen. The light was just wonderful, and when I saw the little boy on the dune (I think he was scanning for icebergs, as there were several in the channel) I decided to compose for him being in the far corner and the glimpse of ocean in the other corner. Not a classic composition but had to try!
