Never Eat Anything Bigger Than Your Head

Post by minniev » Tue Jan 16, 2018 7:43 pm

My friends the dam birds sometimes visit the All You Can Eat Buffet and overfill their plates. When that happens they sometimes have to let one get away. They will try a lot of things first - spearing it, stomping on it, banging it on the rocks, tossing it up and trying to swallow it, but sometimes it just doesn't fit.

Fun series! Though I've seen photos of GBH's with super-sized catches, I've never personally seen anything bigger than a bullfrog :)

I can sense the frustration. But then, for the fish...
Friends call me Chuck. :photo: This link takes you to my Flickr albums. Please click on any album to scroll through it.
(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

I've seen them fight big fish before, but this was a jubilee day for landing big ones, and they got carried away with themselves.

Thanks for taking a look Chuck. I always feel sorry for the fish.
