I would've done this earlier but just noticed it. I'm sure the birds won't mind if we honor them on into the weekend.

I chuckled out loud over your celebrating egret, Minnie

Here is one of my bald eagle fledglings from 2017 only a day or two after first flight. Flying is easy, it's the landing that can get tricky!

Love those two shots you guys! No luck with birds recently, so posting results of fooling around with an old favorite of mine.

How could anyone not love a young eagle learning to fly? Wonderful!

I never get tired of your special eagle picture, Piet, and this is a lovely way to present him.

Almost a month late, Minnie. So I'll see your 'Dam Bird' and raise you a 'Couple a' Puffins'.

Hi Don, great to see you! I’m quite sure that the birds appreciate being honored any day of the year. Wonderful, perfectly captured puffins, and waving at you no less! I love to get shots of birds doing comical stuff. Are these in Iceland?

They are so charming, even when their mouths are filled with fish :) This is a delightful, eye-catching view and posture. Welcome to the site, Don!
