#1 is from the Phoenix Zoo and 2 and 3 are from Out of Africa. Always trying to shoot them so they look like they aren't in a cage.

Like you Coral, I also like to shoot animals in zoo's, and get them so they do not look like they are in a zoo, but one has to be careful as some zoo's Los Angeles comes to mind, does not allow professional use of images.
These were actually in an extremely large fenced in area, so made it much easier, from film in 2003

Thanks, Jeff. Beautiful images. We went on a photo safari to Tanzania last May and I got some incredible lion photos. Came back with great images - I really do prefer to photograph all the animals in the wild and if I was a LOT younger I think that would be my main interest in photography.
