It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed. As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery. Please take a moment to remember him in your prayers. |

A Snowy, Fall Colors in the Spring
A rainy day at Jefferson Island with a Snowy Egret posing on a tree with fall colors in the Spring. The next week the tree was green.

He is gorgeous! Beautifully captured with the detailed white feathers and the colorful leaves in contrast. Excellent image!

Thanks Matt, It was grey wet day and this shot was just as the bird finish shacking off the rain from its feathers.

Those big golf umbrellas are amazing. If I could just figure out how to attach it to my body? A vest harness maybe? S-

Stupendous shot! Puts me in mind of an Audubon print.
