From blue to orange in just a couple of days!

Some more migrants stopped by our Bird Buffet today. Baltimore Orioles. Been a good week for trans-Gulf migrants. Haven't added up the score yet, looks like we might have a few more days. But definitely the best backyard year to date.

I really like these, especially the second as it feels like were in the moment. Please share more like these while you can! S-

Great shots! I really like the first one, but my favorite is the third one where the orioles are so engrossed in waiting for turns at the orange they seem oblivious to you. My sister who lives much further north just mentioned to me yesterday that the Baltimore orioles would probably be arriving soon so she needed to get some grape jelly for them. I can now tell her they can't be very far away.

(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

Thanks all. Looks like this week may be pretty much the tail end of the Spring Migration for us down here. You guys up north now get the fun! ;)

Grape jelly? I've heard of using apples, and coating things in peanut butter, etc. but never heard of grape jelly. Neat! S-
