Thanks Steve.

It's definitely a long and tedious task Martha. Seeing some of the old memories in front of my eyes did help and bring a few smiles to my face.

Very nice images. It's always a challenge to make quality images in any commercial setting, but some of these do not say "zoo" at all, but only say "animal".

My admiration for your scanning project. I haven't the courage for it, though I definitely have the material that is begging to be scanned. But: some of the images my grandparents took in 1900 have held up far better than the ones I took in the 1980s and had processed at Walmart.

Penguins are such a funny bird, like evolution couldn't figure them out and said Let's Make Them Fancy. laf

Thanks Steve.
The kids really love the polar bear in it's pool. Some of them have to be dragged away by their parents after spending a long time in front of the glass.

Love the polar bear, I can definitely see the charm. You might well have to drag me away, too, if I were there. The penguins are also great. They are one of my captive animal favorites. Edited quite a number of photos of them in the wild that my sister took on a trip to the antarctic. (She is a world traveler, and insists I edit all the photos and videos from her trips.) Also time consuming projects that I am now a couple of years behind doing. She nags me constantly to catch up and is taking another trip late this summer.

Thanks Martha.
I understand. My brother, the same one that had me scanning 2,360 photos for him, takes a vacation every year and gives me the photos to edit. :)
(Not sure if he likes my editing or just wants to rub it in that he can afford vacations and I can't.) :D :D
