strong, I like the contrast and the composition. It is taking me a minute to warm up to the "hard" water, but I think it works. She looks a little like her dad just told her that it was time to go home - good emotion. Much to like here.

Piet thank you for comment. Even though it draws away a bit from subject, I thought the water brought in some lines of interest.

I hear you... perhaps just hard lines then might be a thought, not all the water needs it, might be worth a look-see.

Nice pensive image that shows her connection to/fascination with the water. The reflection is key to its success so various crops, as long as they include the reflection, would work. Were you lying in the water?

I love the composition here Frank. The reflection is a bonus and one yo intentionally wanted to get, I assume. The overall image could be interpreted several ways and none of them being correct. The dramatic approach to this image could say this child is lonely, lost, sad and just down right angry. However, I choose lonely for the much dramatic approach. She has no companion other than the water and beach to keep her interest. Excellent capture Frank !!! I'm still waiting on that B&W photo book that will be fabulous on your coffee table and eventually with worn pages from being viewed over & over.
