'My Reds' Opening Day Parade Observations'

Post by davechinn » Sun Apr 08, 2018 1:33 pm

Just a few images from my Reds' baseball opening day parade. Having walked a mile and half, I came home with some interesting subjects, sore feet and tired legs. Hope everyone enjoys my vision.

These are just great Dave. I especially like the second one. I am really liking your “new” alternative style, less grungy but no less dramatic, a sleek and elegant approach to candid portraits.

(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

Terrifically colorful people in black and white. Great work, as usual.

Thanks Minnie !!! Not sure of the occurrence, but I have been trying to backoff from so much of the grunge appeal. Although, some subjects do require a touch or more of the grungy look. I appreciate you taking notice to comment on that particular subject.

Thanks Piet, but actually it was a rather overcast day to where I had an umbrella with me expecting rain at some point. Made it through with no rain, but do agree with the shades. Most everyone had em' on.

Thanks Chuck !!! I love doing the character studies, but I'm finding myself leaning towards capturing the street photography type images more and more rather than the portraits. Strange how our interests change from time to time.

Thanks Bob !!! Love the term/quotes, "Terrifically colorful people in black and white", I never quite looked at it that way.
