Friday Prayers, Kolkata

After leaving Entally Market I stumbled on this scene. I had seen images on line of this but didn't know where to find it. This day I got lucky :)

Very powerful image, Graham. So glad you're able to share these while you're still in India. All the best!

Amazing image, Graham, talk about telling a story! Powerful, well captured and yes from the right viewpoint - behind them, which conveys the depth of meaning without invading their privacy or being distracted by individual details. It is the group that tells the story.

Glad you are safely back, and am looking forward to seeing more! Welcome home!

Splendid Graham. I always wonder what people on the sidelines think. Matt

Thanks Matt. This is part of the life of Kolkata, I doubt anyone thinks much about it. The Muslim and Hindu populations of Kolkata get along well together, as they do in the rest of West Bengal.
