It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed. As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery. Please take a moment to remember him in your prayers. |

I like it! A lot! It takes a minute to see what you've got here, because of the offset that makes the two parts fail to match. This is very very cool. Well spotted and well framed. Definitely one for your black and white processing. The fact that we can't quite reconcile the components makes us keep going back, over and over, to piece it together. Great street shot,

How cool is this?! The reversed clock is what really makes this IMO. I've seen plenty of people reflected in windows, but the clock's backward look really caught my eye. btw, I lived in Columbia for 15 months in 1993-4

Thanks Minnie. I am always wandering while the bride is shopping. Matt

Thanks for noticing that detail, Linda. I wanted that in the frame to key viewers into what was ticking here, and waited patiently till someone walked toward the store window. I didn't want any faces; it took some time. Matt

This is an eye grabber, decisive moment and well thought out in advance. I spotted it instantly thanks to the clock(s) (for some reason I always glance at clocks and the two different times were the tipoff). Waiting for the hurrying shopper was l'instant décisif.

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really.

Thank you Chuck. I rarely wait for a shot, thinking that somewhere in the mess will be a keeper. Here, patience prevailed. I will learn. Matt
