Was looking for something else the other day in the archives, came across this portrait and can't believe I didn't post process this one.

Classic. Can not think of another word.
Friends call me Chuck. :photo: This link takes you to my Flickr albums. Please click on any album to scroll through it.
(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

Really beautiful work. Love the profile pose, it wields a lot of power.

Chuck and Minnie have stated what I felt, but couldn't quite verbalize. Thank you so much for continuing to inspire us, Ernst.

very arresting presentation showing why rules are made to be broken. She is beautiful, you did her full justice, like a stallion caught in full gallop - strong, full of life.

Ernst, Here's what I see/project here. A young tribe member peering into the past to understand. Leaning into what she sees to be sure. Proud yet somewhat sad. Determined but resigned. Listening as well as watching. Memorizing to remember. Ready to be on her own. Superb. Matt

Thanks all for the comments. This month is National Native American Month, I'm going to try hard and get more natives to come and visit with me.
