Silver 3: Completely rebuilt for epic black and white.

I have never heard of this software and just came across it and I was wondering if anyone knew anything. Is it a Silver Efex replacement and is it any better? Also, curious if this is a plugin or a stand alone program. More investigation required !!! http://seimeffects.com/silver

I have the free mobile version on my ipad, and have played with it some. It seems to do a good job. But then, so does Silver Efex and TonalityPro. I have a set of b & w presets in LR from Hacking, and some from DCFoundry that also give good starting points if staying entirely within LR. Not sure about springing for another converter but will play with the freebie a while...

Let us know your opinion after you study more on it.

As of right now I have no interest because it seems to be mostly for LR which I rarely use. If they had a trial offer I could possibly change my mind, but I didn't see one offered.

Steve, I haven't been able to acquire much info other than a price with support where Google never offered support. There is a 30 day free trial download that I may try but I suspect there won't be any difference to what I already have which is NikSiverEfex. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, Right?

There are a couple of new filters but unless you need them I would wait to see if they add more. S-
