Since I'm taking the back seat of this discussion, I can only say that I've done HDR a handful of times ..... if I did them correctly. When doing so I usually take 5 exposures, only because my thinking pattern may be a little foggy. However, maybe I will learn how to do HDR correctly by watching?

Tomorrow I am going to an abandoned location in New York with a local Meetup group. I'll make sure to do some HDR with several techniques and post them as a tutorial, or at least a comparative example.

So Ed, you wanna start a virtual bar fight between me and the Duck-man?  WHY?
Meanwhile I haven't tried my hand yet but am now anxious to see what Duck comes up with. (OK)
Friends call me Chuck. :photo: This link takes you to my Flickr albums. Please click on any album to scroll through it.
(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

Gosh: have I been away for that long...
Your finding of richer blacks and transitions is the same as I get.
Is it wrong?..Oh Heck...here we go again.
Might be easier to get Duck and Charles to shoot it out
Ammunition is 100th/sec at F8
