I think I will try to start a thread on workflow. Mine is (probably never will be) not perfect, but after almost 3 years of experience and many tutorials I feel I have a pretty good grasp, at least to get where I want to be, so I will share where I'm at up to this point (which will evolve). I'm pretty sure no two workers are gonna have the same approach, and I'm convinced that's just fine. I strongly disagree with Instructor X's rigid command approach. Photography is both art and science. I don't think you can make it all one or the other. If you try I don't think the results will be good, and almost certainly not great. (N)
Chuck, When I export an image into PS, I click on Filter at the top and, in the drop down menu, I click on Camera Raw Filter, then click on Auto. If I like what I see I keep it, maybe with a tiny tweak in PS or in Lightroom. I have two screen shots to illustrate before and after, but can't figure out how to attach them to this message. I select them from my desktop but they won't load into pM as attachments. Can't copy/paste either. Drag and drop doesn't work either. Any suggestions? Matt

Assuming their JPGs they may be too small. Email them to me if you want and I'm sure we can figure it out. S-

good stuff - One thing I tried that happened to improve an image I'd been mucking with was Matt's instructor's brights to the left, shadows to the right (and then adjust white and black to set them near the edge).
