It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed.
As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery.
Please take a moment to remember him in your prayers.

A joke on perspective

Post by Duck » Thu Nov 02, 2017 4:24 pm

The recent topic on Vermeer and the discussion of the use of the camera obscura made me think of a joke. It's a simple joke with a lot of hidden meaning I wouldn't expect many people to understand but I thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone was up to the challenge of decoding it. It goes like this.

Gustav Klimt: What are you painting?
Howard Pyle: That cow in the distance.
Gustav Klimt: Oh, you mean the small one!
"If you didn't learn something new today, you wasted a day."

I see the humor in this.
