New Tool (aka: New Toy)

Post by Steven G Webb » Wed Jan 20, 2016 7:03 am

A very good friend gifted me this lens. Does anyone else have one or one of the variants? It was manufactured under the Vivitar brand as well as Lester A. Dine dental photography lens. It seems to be pretty sweet so far but I am no macro specialist. One photo of the lens and one photo taken with the lens (just a fast hand-held grab). I plan to photograph coins for a numismatist's catalog and online listings with this thing. I'll be sharpening my skills and using proper lighting for those.

Looks like a neat new toy! I love playing with macro. It's like looking into a whole new world.
