I love having an excuse to get the camera out so thought it was about time to join the Challenge. All images are open for C & C unless otherwise stated. Hope to keep the images interesting. Mostly will be from around the city of Whyalla. Like to hit the road as often as possible so the camera always goes on road trips so it will contain more from around the state of South Australia.
Also starting to dabble in Portrait work through the help of Onslow.
Here is my first image so 1/52
My only willing model also my 3 year old Daughter.
Sitting beneath a well lit window using a white reflector to her left.
Canon 5D Mkiii with Canon EF24 -105mm f4L IS USM @ 105, iso 1600, f9, 1/30sec.

Welcome to the 52 Eric, and your lovely model :) I'm into week 13 this week and it's not getting any easier being true to the project and actually taking a picture a week, sounds easy but it isn't, I'm looking forward to seeing how you go. :photo:

Welcome to the 52 Wind. What a precious start to it all for you. For me the challenge is not in the capturing of the image per well. I capture plenty of images every week. For me the challenge is simply a matter of creating an image during the week that I can post in the challenge and then remembering to actually post it.

It's Sunday which means it is time for an image. Been on night 12 hr night shift for the last 5 nights and with one to go the Army's Black Hawk helicopter flew over my house and woke me up. Managed to race out and get a capture. So straight out of bed was not to bad had to swap lenses for the 70 -200mm f2.8.
F9, 1/100s, iso100 @200mm.
The helicopter. No.2/52wk

It's Sunday already. Luckily the camera has been out and about a couple of times this week.
So this is 3/52.
Motivation for this was a challenge I set for the Whyalla clubs FB page "Long Exposure". This is my favourite Genre where I can relax and contemplate life while the camera takes it's time to create an image. Photographic Meditation with a 10 stop ND filter.
Iso100, f8, 20secs @24mm. No crop on this image just B&W conversion with some split toning added.
"Old Faithful" Been shot by everyone.

Just one more for today. A rainbow as seen from my window at my work. Some people get excited by phone camera images. They are handy but still have a long way to go to replace my 5D. Anyhow was in my pocket and the 5D was not.
