Week 14/52
Just spent a week at work from sun up to sun down so had to wait for a day off to capture an image.
Taken at the Whyalla Foreshore on what was a rather dull Black and White day. Had the camera in the car as I was teaching a friend from work how to ride a Stand Up Paddle Board. Highlight was watching him go head first over the front of the board into 16 degree c water on an .5 degree c air temp morning. Took my breath away.
Took this image to capture the very small wave to use as a leading line to what is the focal point of the foreshore. This required me squatting in my shorts just above the shore break. It was a chilly morning.
ISO 400, f8, 1/800s @28mm

Week 15/52
Felt the need to press the shutter on the camera working away from home for 14 hours a day meant taking the camera on the job.
This image is off the main tower of the Ore Benificiation Plant. I have taken numerous images of the plant which have been used on internal interweb pages and newsletters. Trying to find interesting new angles are hard. Was hoping for a nice sunrise but it wasn't going to be so a B&W conversion was in need.

Another from week 15/52.
Was a little late to capture the dramatic cloud formations but for a middle of the day capture I was really surprised by the lighting in this image.
