Post by pah43 » Mon Sep 07, 2015 10:21 am

I had a visit from a lovely Port Lincoln Parakeet this weekend- I think it was someones escaped pet as it was very tame and was happy to sit on my shoulder and chatter in my ear. Im still having a lot of internet problems and these look like continuing for a good few days yet so im not very active online - seems to good just if not a bit slow so taking the opportunity to post this weeks pictures.

Cheers Paul

Nice shots Paul. Seems like you should have been wearing an eyepatch in the second shot. :D

Hope your internet woes get sorted out soon.

Very colourful bird. Not something we are going to see around my part of the world anytime soon. :)

They're pretty birds. You have captured him well. I do hope he found his way home!

Didnt think I was going to make it this week, been having massive internet problems for about 3 weeks now - Got a new provider and the line repaired, a broken wire on the pole outside my place - Grrrr :x All fixed now and getting some decent upload speeds - would like more but it just aint possible 8):
So I went to the park as I always do with the dogs, lovely day and light and took these to put up here - The little flowers are Gozainias (not sure of the spelling) the farmers hate them but in parks and gardens they look lovely in the sun and they flower most of the year. Daisy my dog loves the park.

Im down at Port Lincoln for 9 days and today i went back to Sleaford Bay and played with my 8x fader filter, the sea is a beautiful colour here with decent surf and today lovely clouds too - the filter worked well for me this time, iso 100, 8 secs at f29. The weather has been quite good so far so im hoping to get out some more with the camera

Nice Long exposures Paul. I really like the 2nd one the use of the beach path leads nicely across to those Rocks. Is it Cold there?
