Well, I had to get a still life photo for this week’s challenge, and I’m not at home which presented a challenge. Here is what I found here at the beach. It is still.

Get ready for a lot of beach pictures. They are downloading and as I edit something interesting, I'll be sharing it. I had a lot of fun in this beautiful place, even though I didn't have my usual beach monkeys with me.

Theme for this week is Shoes.

I don't have any interesting shoes so I concocted this which involves my beach shoes. I was playing with those weird neural filters in photoshop.

Paperclips - I initially thought this was ridiculous but after seeing some really creative photo of paperclips I am humbled. My two offerings are very meager in comparison.

First is a handful of paperclips laid out roughly in the shape of a bird, then photographed and put on a background made of a fractal of said paperclip bird. If you have an iPhone and never played with the free ap Frax, you should. It is very soothing though addictive.

The second is a fake scene, made to look fake (I don't know what you call that kind of creation). The wood is fake, the scene is run through a heavy Topaz paint filter, the handwriting is just a font, the note is fake, the paperclip is added after the fact.
