Love your kitchen window shots...the curtains I think, add so much. Nicely processed
My country version of "Wind From The Sea". No sea, but a nice breeze from the forest.

Theme this week - sunrise

I got up and out in time for a sunrise, but the forecast was for no clouds at all and I knew there would be no good pictures. So I went to the dam for a damrise. That’s when the beams come pouring through the dam grates in unique formations depending on seasonal sun angle, grate positions, and atmospherics. I’ll be sharing a few more after I get home and edit them.

Art hat is short right now, even the photography hat. Blessedly I thought to put this one in dropbox before I left for the country. My card reader won’t work. Or at least I’m pretty sure it’s the card reader since the ipad is accepting other devices on that same port. So anything I’ve got in the camera has to stay there till I get home.

love these with the shaft of light coming down - with the slanted heavy stonework and the birds, it has an Egyptian feel to it.

Thanks. I had a good damrise that day, with great light. The birds were not quite awake so there weren’t many good interactions but the light kinda made up for it.

This week's theme: Something About Me

I made this mess of a thing from a picture of the country house, a couple of old pictures of me as a kid, a picture of me a couple of weeks ago, all smashed up over a picture of one of the artworks that's been there for nearly a century, one of my aunt's paintings.
